It’s pretty disgusting that Disney advertises on Tucker Carlson to begin with, but of course it fits well with their money first philosophy.

The article linked above says that the ads were placed on Disney’s behalf by a third-party ad buyer and that that third party has been instructed not to do it again.

Yeah but they knew where their ads were going all along. It’s not like some sort of blind investment fund. Tucker Carlson has been a shitbag for years but he has a large audience so…

(Disclaimer: I worked for Disney for over a decade and have seen some of its dark side.)

I think the MyPillow guy is about 50% of Fox News’ advertising revenue at this point. If there was a way to take that company down, say by IRS audit or something, we could effectively cripple Fox News.

But that’s money for the entire platform, not money Carlson is generating. They can muzzle him, cut back his air time, etc., and probably still charge the same fees. It’s not like they don’t have other attack dogs.

No… they’re just being honest that they are the bad guys.

Eh, Fox News is Rupert’s toy train at this point: it’s what he spends his fortune on as a hobby in his declining years.

Even if MyPillow were to vanish as an advertiser tomorrow, he’d still cover the costs.

We’re not going to see any change in Fox News until Rupert dies (and maybe not even then, because the Murdoch kids might decide they want a toy train as a hobby, too.)

Fox’s real revenue stream are those cable fees. It’s why they go nuclear and urge their viewers to call their cable company and “stop liberal censorship” whenever a cable telco doesn’t play along with a rate increase or threatens to cut the rate.

Let’s all wish this handsome couple well.

Fox more than happy to share important breaking news about a part-time driver in the low minors of Nascar as an excuse to complain about banning the Confederate flag.

It really does seem this example of mediocrity and failure is simply seeing a way to join in on the grift.

I bet he makes more money from the racist grifter circuit than he did as a failed race driver.

This was so damn funny.

Yea, no network is keen on running a show that can’t pay it’s own way. O’Reily collapsed because of personal foibles and a lack of advertisers.

Good. NASCAR doesn’t need him and he and the truck circuit will find someone to take his spot. I hope a bunch of the racist rednecks quit.

One example of the high level of journalistic integrity at Fox…

Of course, ol’ Rupe said the same thing in early 2016, only to come to terms with Trump later on.
