I’m curious to know if anyone on this forum has read any of his novels?

“The Saracen Blade”, “Goat Song”, “Judas, My Brother”, “Fair Oaks”, “The Foxes of Harrow”, “An Odor of Sanctity” and “The Dahomean”, to name a few. I read these novels about 30 years ago and still remember them fondly.

Frank G. Slaughter, James A. Michener, Howard Fast and James Clavell were other authors that I was particularly fond of back then.

There are certainly great authors writing today, but I kind of miss these guys.
