Evil Dead vs. Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ecks vs. Sever.
Possibly like Wacky Races, where each wins at least once, except Dick Dastardly.

I have seen all three flicks, not recently, but had no recollection of who ASH was in the title of this thread. I kinda dim though.
I would like to see Freddy v. Jason v. The Huge Swirling Container of Evil Black Ooze from Prince of Darkness
Oh, hell no!
Wouldn’t it be Ash vs Freddy and Jason? Isn’t Ash considered “good”?
As for Ash having to work his way up through the ranks:
Ash vs Leprechan?
Good, bad, he’s the guy with the gun.

Oh, hell yes!
Yeah, he does. Ronnie Yu is fine though, the BrideWWH flicks are great (and I liked FvJ)

My girlfriend recently bought the “bootleg directors cut” version of Army of Darkness… And…
That line is GONE! They replaced it with some crap I don’t even remember.

It’s just an alternate take that’s in the extended cut of the film (and you don’t have to buy it bootleg, I’ve got a 2 DVD set of AoD that has original and extended).
A number of lines are changed, but the one we’re talking about was changed to “I’m not that good”
They also changed the “Maybe, just maybe my boys can hold them…yeah, and maybe I’m a chinese jet pilot.” to “…I need more men”
Extended version is worth watching just to see Ash cower like a little girl more, and the original downer ending.
It’s not actually a bootleg, that’s just what the issue is called, the “Bootleg Directors Cut”…
Kind of ruined it for me when they changed one of the most memorable lines to some piece of crap (I’m not that good, bleh.)
My copy has the downer ending as an extra scene…
What’s interesting about Army of Darkness is that it was supposed to come out months earlier than it finally did. It was held hostage by Dino DeLaurentis as he fought over the rights to “Silence of the Lambs”. If it had come out that summer (instead of being unceremoneously dumped out in January) I think it would have been a much bigger hit.
Don’t feel too bad, man. I thought balut was telling us about Freddy vs Jason vs Ian Holm.
Blah, there’s to many damn versions of the DVD’s out there. I’d suggest picking up the two disc set of AoD up though - pretty good commentary Raimi and Campbell on there.
