I’m looking for a “record what you hear” program so I can record songs off of concert DVDs and import them as MP3s into my Zen Micro.
Everything I’ve found so far is like 30 bucks but I don’t need anything ultra sophisticated, just record what you hear into MP3.
Windows sound recorder?
Only records for 60 seconds and the file size is ungodly large just for one song.
Try Audacity. Open source sound editor and recorder.
Make sure you get the LAME mp3 encoder to use with Audacity. I’ve been using it to make mp3 ringtones for my cell phone.
