psych!

so i was looking at a big toy seller’s website and was ordering an expensive item.

it said FREE 75-pc. Block set with purchase! on my nephew’s wishlist page, on the actual item’s product page twice, and in the search results.

but clicking the link showed a blank page. when i called up the helpline to see what the problem was, i was told they ran out but they hadn’t updated the page yet. is this something i should complain about? or should i just forget about it? i’m kind of annoyed by this even though i didn’t actually lose anything since this is something they should update automatically. with, you know, computers or something.

You should at least write to the Consumerist blog and bitch about it. Sometimes good things happen from that.
