EA fucking over their aquired companies at a faster rate than usual.

We don't need word that PvZ2 is coming to PC. It's coming. It will be on Origin. There will be hand-wringing aplenty when it's announced.

Well, that's disappointing.

I don't think the blame necessarily lies at the feet of EA, though. Remember, although they've made a couple of core-gamer friendly games like Plants vs Zombies, Heavy Weapon, and Bookworm Adventures, they're fundamentally a casual game company and target the casual market. And these days, the casual market is in Facebook apps and free to play mobile games.

I'm trying to think what they can sell me (that I'd actually be willing to buy) for $5 as a freemium title that they wouldn't have gotten more reliably from me had they made it a $5 download.

As it is, my desire to play this game at _all_ is significantly decreased knowing that they will want to try and sell me stuff once I've started playing. I suspect I'm not alone in this.

You are not alone. However, I'm going to try it

I did think the "It’s About Time" in the title was a joke on how long they did take to make this game.
