Thing is I would have expected classifieds to friends and friends-of-friends to get more worthwhile hits. Forgot it’s advertised outside of that circle too.
Like everyone else, I had no idea there was a Facebook Marketplace.
I’d have good luck with Craigslist for buying and selling.
If you told me that Facebook had a marketplace, two things would occur to me:
- Facebook has a marketplace?
and
- You’d have to be one naive mofo to think that such a place would be anything but a haven for scammers.
I mean really now.
I used to buy and sell shit through the local newsgroup so I guess I’m just lazy to have expected Facebook Marketplace to be useful.
