So I got a Tivo yesterday, and I set it to grab today’s X-Play. So I start to watch it, and the entire screen is a picture of a Nintendo DS, with the top screen being X-Play, and the rest being clips of launch titles. I skipped ahead a little bit, and it looked like the whole show is a tiny part of the screen. What the hell? Now they’re trying to get me not to watch G4?
The whole friggen day was like that. Kinda annoying. I couldn’t watch more then 5 minutes of it (which, in a sense, means nothing really changed about G4).
Yeah, the whole thing was insane. I hope they got a hell of a lot of money from Nintendo for that one because it was the most intrusive advertising I’ve ever seen.
