I have the base game somehow (I think through a humble monthly?), but never started it up. With this sale, which of the dlc are essential to pick up before I jump in?
The major expansions are Mercenaries and Crusade, I’d highly recommend those.

One stat: Gal Civ 3 has sold 600,000 copies on Steam.
I am personally looking forward to the new update since it appears to contain balance fixes with farms, which is an issue I have with the current version.

Exactly, they easily could have doubled their sales with Denuvo instead of losing so many sales to pirates!

The changes in 2.7 look great. I had temporarily changed my Steam review because of the issues with 2.6 (farms, AI, etc). They are now addressed and I was happy to change my reviews back to a thumbs-up! :-)
Eep I still haven’t started up GC3. I bought the whole lot of expansions too, feels a little overwhelming. Unsure as to how to proceed. Might do it this weekend and just see how it goes. It does teach you a bit as you go, doesn’t it?
