Oh that’s Djazzman, the djinn jazz man.
I loved the part where you played your guitar to make all the ghosts leave the body of your love partner.

is he using his sword as a jackhammer?
Wow, that’s… something.
It’s one of those early CRPGs which seems cooler because I barely played it.
Plus its sequel… The Wylde! Outdoors! Infinite adventure!
IMO that’s a pretty badass launch screen for 1982-4.
The name evoked something and indeed, the brave CRPG Addict had posted about it.
You were misleading: the game was a TRS-80 one at first, that Atari 800/C64 sticker is what got us off the tracks, obviously!
cough
Oh no, you lost, and you are cursed to proceed with another one.
Am I crazy or is that Half-Life?
Academy?
Leather Goddesses of Phobos?
Man, you are quick! Just came here to post that. =)
I’ve been wanting to do the Half-Life box for ages now, but it just seems so obvious!
Haha, yeah, the stripes were a dead give-away.
Standard Level.
Is that what normal boxes are?, instead of Collectors Edition, Special Edition, etc?
For Infocom games, they indicated difficulty on the box. That’s what that is referring to.
The stripes were consistent with my vague memory of Infocom boxes, but not a total giveaway. Something about the cartoony planet style triggered the thought. I was borderline between Leather Goddesses and Hitchhiker’s Guide, though.
At work; I’ll post an image in a few hours.
