Game box art challenge?

Icewind Dale?

Nope, another frame:

Flight of the Amazon Queen?

More hints:

Wow, awfully familiar. Battle Gorilla?

Uh, I suppose I can forget about my fantasy-oriented guesses!

The next one should dissuade you from all thoughts fantasy:

Copernicus Platoon: Uma Thurman Edition.

Not much left…

I have no idea, but that’s a cool piece of box art!

Guerilla War?

Advance Wars: Dana Plato

I did not expect this one to be difficult, last frame plus hint: this title was one of the first released for a new console, twice, in the span of decades.

I have no idea what this is but it looks great. It looks like a movie poster. Infact I’d expect it TO be a game for a licensed movie.

But, er: OGRE?

Some 80’s version of The Secret World? :)

I can’t pinpoint it. I was persuaded it was a Japanese computer’s game cover.
That sort of box design doesn’t fit any console I can think of, excepting maybe the Japanese NES?

Oi, this may need more hints. Don’t make me do another cover:

  • This land of the rising sun console name has a connection with The Matrix.
  • To play the original version of the game, you had to use numerous small circular disks. Unless you were really good at the game.

Going totally off the hints, I’ll throw Neo Contra, but I don’t remember the cover looking this classy at all!

You get another, I made it sound like the game name had a connection to The Matrix … it’s the console name.

It can’t be Metal Slug :O
