Game box art challenge?

Le Battletoads?

I picked this cover only for this next reveal.

Oh that’s Frog Monster and Little Cat.

William S. Burrough’s Mugwump Tycoon?

It was Bactron, from Loriciels

Another weird tech on isometric game from France, where we thought they’d make a great support for shmups. Meh.
Loriciels’ logo, though!

Super-duper-easy one next, because I have to go soon.

Look awful.

Also: Defender of the Crown (1)?

The Thomson version is even worse than the amstrad one (the CPC got a proper sound chip, at least).

No DotC.

Oh, Centipede. I thought that was a bow in his hand, but it’s the wand. Not sure which version. I’ll guess Atari 5200 … ?

That’s because it’s not quite Centipede… Teehee!

OH NOES

Well I’m handing it to you Gordon, as nobody is inspired and I am going to be a bit busy for the next 24 hours.

It was Millipede, the sequel to Centipede’s insanely packed shooting port for the Atari VC2600. Really impressive for the little machine.

Atari’s boxes art is just amazing.

That would have been my next guess, if there’d been another challenge frame.

New box:

Shadow of the beast?

Nope!
