I’m confused, because when graphics actually looked like that, their boxes hid it with fancy paintings; nowadays, the games that embrace an 8 bit aesthetic usually don’t have boxes at all!

Old NES games didn’t use paintings, at least, not Nintendo developed ones. They had art that represented the in game a bit (usually mixed with a bit of graphic work). So I’m guessing this is an NES game, but I haven’t a clue which one (since I’m gonna admit, I never owned one, just played one at my friend’s house).

I didn’t have one, but played he heck out of it at my friends and cousins houses.

I had a blast with this game too, of course I was about 6, so was a perfect age to be lured by the charm of… cheating my fool head off by holding the gun 6 inches from the screen.
