The guy on the cover looks like he is straining to remember as well, haha.

Chess

hoho, it’s getting hot in here!

Virtual Hoofgrow?

I’ve never heard of or played this game, so I’m cheating by deciphering blurred text and associating the chessy theme with a popular similarly-shaped name associated with it, so I’ll go with:

Virtual Kasparov

Before this last reveal, I typed into duckduckgo “playstation chess game”, and checked out the images, and none of the images matched. So either this was a really obscure game, or duckduckgo sucks.

Edit: Hmmmm, Google isn’t much better. Where the heck did you find this game LeftEmpty? (Although to be fair to Google, it is there, you just have to scroll down a lot to get to it).

It is indeed Virtual Kasparov, and that cover is just… something. Good cryptowork, @kerzain.

I’m part of an elite brotherhood that shares among its members interesting game art. This popped up two weeks ago. I couldn’t get it out of my head.

My first leap to some sort of chess game came when the golden head became visible and I realized the golden calf was instead some sort of golden horse. And there’s only one game in the world I can think of where horses and strained thinking become one, chess. The rest was indeed helped out by blurry hints.

My entry will show up in less than 1 minute.

Here is entry #2. Hopefully this one is much less terrifying.

And still none the wiser as to what it is, haha.

Final Fantasy 8?

Looks to me like the image section on the left is a couple of spiral notebooks. But then the image on the right looks like part of a roof maybe. So maybe a Honey I shrunk the kids type of game?

Pikmin?

Incorrect.

Incorrect.

Incorrect.

Round 3: FIGHT!

Hopefully four is a much luckier number than that pesky three!

A new message has arrived.

I like it! Whatever it is. You’ve found a really neat cover.

The PS2 Rygar?
