Game box art challenge?

Searched the thread but didn’t find anything. But I didn’t Search search. I just scrolled for a bit. Fail.

My Neighbour Totoro

I use You Doodle.

Nopers

I ended up using PaintWork. I just spray paint over the whole thing then erase parts to make new pics. Seems easy enough.

New shot.

Damn, I was so sure.

Outpost?

Shit. There were two classic games about the Space Shuttle.

I’ll go with Shuttle: Space Flight Simulator (I think that was the title of one of them).

Ohh, too bad. Close but noooooot quite. I’ll give another hint that may jog your memory.

Oh it’s Space Shuttle! Journey in to Space! I might have the box somewhere.

Ha ha! I think you’ve got it; that was the other one I was thinking of.

Yup! Good call @nijimeijer on it being a shuttle game. But I figured the line would point directly to an Atari game.

Somehow I imagine the Atari 2600 one isn’t quite as detailed as Shutte.

Hopefully this one is a little harder for the boxart savants.

That Space Shuttle box art, like most games of that era, probably is writing checks that they can’t cash.

That was my first thought.

Let’s take a look:

I have to admit, I’m really impressed that it’s that old and it’s in 1st person. I probably would have loved this as a kid.

I can’t remember the name of another space sim for the Atari 2600 but it had a special controller with a knob and 10 buttons. I love 2600 games.

Found it. No knob (my memory is faulty) but this was the coolest thing when I was the kid. starraider

Going with Prince of Persia. But I’m not sure of that answer.

Shadow Warrior

Ripley’s Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu

?

Nope, better picture.

Lets peel back a little more.
