Whoops, I skipped to the bottom to reply to the Power Glove guess.
Yup, Ultrabots. I suspected the middle green lines would give it away.

Slide out and transform in order to…take up more desk space?

The Ultrabots box cost eight times the standard PC game box printing cost!
Game itself had a cool look to it, but was a cakewalk after quickly figuring out the trick was to just unload all your overpowered Scorpion missiles before mopping up.
I can’t deny that that box probably sold the game, in my case. What a great time to be into PC games.
Okay, hope this one hasn’t already been done.
Is that a real game or did you just make up a new game by mashing a couple others together? Either way, NOPE!
I’ll give some folks some time on a Monday morning in case they want to make a guess before I post the second reveal.
Conflict: Freespace was the game in Europe that we know in the U.S. as Descent: Freespace.
Aaaah, I didn’t know that! I guess they didn’t think the Descent name pulled much weight in Europe?
I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream
There it is! Featuring the Man himself, emblazoned on a “3D mouse pad” and also in-game voicing AM, the psychopath computer.
I have absolutely no idea.
I don’t think I’m correct, but this looks like one of those 80s era PC game boxes that tries to create characters and story from a simple arcade game like Pac-Man.
It is not an arcade game.
