Ah yes, the old “I have a monopoly on…” canard…amazingly proffered in direct response to being told that he was expressing sentiments that were clearly universal here, and actually evidenced by the actions of everyone here except himself.
I don’t oppose racism because it hurts my feelings, I oppose it because it’s wrong and does real damage to real people.
You don’t oppose racism at all - your black little heart embraces it lovingly – you just like to disingenuously yammer on about how much you care about racism because doing so makes you feel, really, really, really good about yourself.
In post 2718 I’m pretty sure we can say, if nothing else, that it’s pretty unlikely that this is an issue where sentiments are universal. But oh yeah, definitely, I love racism with my little black heart. Civil and reasoned discourse at last.
Ah ha, Virgil Hilts is Starlight.
…who does that remind us of, hmmmm…
But if everyone thinks racism is wrong, uh, does that mean racism is over?
Except nobody said that - he said that nobody here was racist, and the words and conduct of everyone on this forum evidences that. Or at least it did, until you bubbled out of some cesspool and started judging people based upon skin color, sex, or sexual orientation in every post you make, as if you were the Grand Poobah in some illiberal performance art.
So if nobody here is racist(except me, and possibly the other SJW posters, obviously), who is? Who is sexist? Where does institutional bias come if it’s not the people in those institutions? The NYPD is racist not because the shirts and badges carry with them curses of -1 to racial equality, but because actual cops go and do actually racist shit. Not all of them, not everything, but if racism manifests itself in the real world it must have some agent taking action.
As a followup, if you were, I don’t know, let’s say a professional critic who opposed those bad things that everyone opposes, and saw in work you were reviewing some aspect that you believed encouraged or supported those bad things that everyone opposes…
wouldn’t you write that in your review? As a conscientious opponent of the universally opposed it seems to me you almost have an ethical obligation to do so.
Since you consider anything masculine to be sexist, and in turn elevate all sexism into misogyny, and graduate the wearing of Hawaiian shirts into sexual assault, and extrapolate the unqualified use of a male pronoun into a clarion call to disenfranchise all women…no doubt the answer is (or soon will be) every single beating heart on this misbegotten orb, other than Soapyfrog’s Aunt Martha.

First, my last post was absolutely genuine, and I hope you understand that. But given that there was a misunderstanding of Bucsef by either you or myself, i understand how my laughter would piss you off.
In terms of who is racist, i think the answer is, “lots of people”. Many on a subconscious level, or at least to such a mild degree that they don’t consider themselves to be racist. The majority of them, not because they are terrible human beings, i don’t think, but rather because of ignorance and lack of real exposure to those groups that they are bigoted against, and due to a general lack of desire that most people have for performing introspection into one’s own motivations and beliefs.

I only responded in depth to you (pointlessly it would seem) because i foolishly made a post about privilege and you specifically called out about wanting examples. I provided them, clarified my position, and you laughed and said “words LOL”. And then called me a racist. That you’re incapable of understanding nuance is not my or anyone else’s problem.
I do realize now though why Vox is and its antecedents were so popular and successful. So let me speak to you the way you apparently need to be spoken to and then be done with this ‘conversation’, since you were right at least about having this it in this thread.
…
Racism in America. This is important and everyone needs to read this. We still have a big problem with racism in America today. Did you know that the wealthgap between White American and Black America is increasing? Well, it is! Black youths are being targeted by the police. Treyvon Martin and the protests in Fergersuon show those Americans that thinks we live in a post-racial society that it’s not true! But why does racism still exist in America? Some people use a term “white privilege” to represent the accumulation of wealth and power by white Americans over the years, which denies and stereotypes African Americans people and denies them their opportunties. While there is surely a lot of truth to that, it is the whole story? Orthers might say problem starts from historical failures of Reconstruction - remember the serfs in Russia and the slaves in America were both emancipated at the same time, and the Russian serfs had a revolution because of their lack of opportunities! Some people say there are structural issues that came about without anyone’s specific direction. Some might even say there are issues within Black community itself needs to overcome. Whatever the combination of factors here, maybe the term White Privilege isn’t the whole story? Maybe focusing on only one factor might even be counterproductive! Something to think about!

The fact is the civil war didn’t fix slavery. It just changed it into serfdom.
To fix slavery we would have had to had a lot more will to break the South. Our lack of will to do so was the biggest mistake in American history.
So you lump everyone you don’t like into one easy category of hate. There’s a word for that - Political Correctness.
I think my favorite part of discovering this Eni dude, and obviously as he is a guy who has posted here for 12 years I’m sure I’m not the first to pick up on this, is how desperate he is to appear intellectual. “Antecedent”? Trying so hard.
But, uh, while you did respond with so many words, and now favored us with what I guess is the world’s worst Dylan Matthews impersonation(have you ever read Vox? What do you think they write about? Good to see you’re still nursing a grudge about that case, AFAIK you people generally prefer to snark about how Darren Wilson was right these days, NBC and Al Sharpton trying to frame innocent hero George Zimmerman was 2013’s hottest white resentment trigger point), I can’t help but notice you never got around to making a point in either of those posts.
“Don’t talk about white privilege because it might be counterproductive” coming from a guy crowing about how the NYPD having black cops made the MSM shut up about Eric Garner doesn’t really hold a lot of sway, for one thing, but even if we pretendthat you are sincere, so? Who cares if it “might” be counterproductive? What does the Russian Revolution have to do with 2015 America?
Oh also you still don’t seem to understand what liberals mean when they talk about white privilege. The accumulation of wealth and power? That’s just a statistic. That’s history.
Oh, and Timex, no. Your last post wasn’t genuine, you aren’t sincere, you thought it was funny about how that a pro-#GG guy said he sucked dicks in a post that was trying to paint me as hating straight people.
You appear to be a deeply shitty person, and not the “swears on the internet” kind of shitty I am. More the “defends GamerGate and cops who kill unarmed people” kind of shitty. You don’t get to just believe whatever awful shit you want without fear of disagreement, that’s the whole #GG thing in a nutshell.
It’s time to grow up. “Gamers are over” was talking about you, because a hobby that targets people like you is an embarrassment. Video games can be more than that, and they should be. That was Leigh’s point. She wasn’t talking to you, she was talking about you. So now you know. This is what we think of you.

Well then, I clearly overestimated your interpersonal skills. I’m sorry for your issues.
There is no “we” - you’re just a disturbed social misfit with far too much time on his/her hands, with delusions that your facile, shallow musings represent something more grandiose and excuse your contemptible, bigoted behavior.
When your anti-social antics have managed to entice people on this forum who probably haven’t agreed with each other in years, to rebuke and ridicule you, maybe it’s time to move on with your trolling, or spend the time learning a new language, providing some charitable service, or just playing a game, or something. Try doing something more productive or fun than making pronouncements about how much you care about equality to rationalize acting shitty to people.
Seagull politics - Fly in, shit everywhere, then fuck off.
Games, comics, BDSM, atheism, sci-fi, fantasy, even the pony guys, all covered in birdshit left by our Tumblrista friends.
Well the last few pages have shown why we can’t have nice things.
