So is the gg thread done then?
GG GG thread. /thread
Oh please oh please oh please.
In another forum? Maybe.
In P&R? I will discuss drinking preferences in an Israel thread. And I will like it.
If talking identity politics intersectionality in a thread about um…an identity politics flame war in gaming is triggering you I can start up a new thread. I just assumed its neatly contained here.

I have myopia.
I don’t ask the whole internet to write webpages in huge fonts. Instead, I use a hotkey to enlarge the fonts when they are not easy confortable to read.
I have been always wrong? maybe I should sue every webpage with small fonts for “Ableism”.

This was the first time I posted in this thread, so I’m curious as to what you think my polemic is?

If QT3 used fonts that were not enlargeable by the browser, would it be wrong for you say to Tom, ‘Hey I have trouble reading the site, if you could use enlargeable fonts instead I would appreciate it.’?
In the earlier days of the web you did in fact find sites where you could not enlarge the text, or maybe you could but the text often overflowed areas and made certain UI actions unusable. It is indeed better now.
Sure - as long as sites don’t block that with fancy scripting to ensure an “authentic experience” or other ****.
There’s a few changes to CSS which would make things a lot easier for that kind of thing, too (and they have been made in ePub, where a good reflowable text is one of the core goals), but they were dismissed out of hand on the CSS3 lists. (One big reason that ePub 3 is still based on CSS2.1 rather than 3, along with XHTML5)
May i present GG’s most implacable opponent.

Demisexual genderqueer pale person. Literal good guy. Itinerant jongleur. Pronouns are Xir, Xirs Xirself. Filters life through the lens of minority issues.
Is this a twitter feed making fun of this guy, or actually this guy’s feed?
Because I cannot imagine anyone actually describing themselves in such a way unless they were trying to be ironic.
I mean, it’s so totally full of shit. Like, more shit than you would normally be able to contain in a finite space.
You need to read his/xirs feed.

I can’t tell if it’s intended as humor, or is being serious.

If you read the feed it’s full of mocking fat people and feminism, complete with numerous chan-styled mockups and grossout collages – it’s extremely obvious where he’s coming from.
That’s the genius of a good troll.

Yeah, that’s what I got from a bunch… but then some of them seemed serious? It was really weird.
Brianna gets it.
Also, notice just who falls for it? and looks bad as a result?
This is what happens if you dare write about blockbot.
The link to Welyn Hatfield news is bizarre, I cant imagine any local newspaper (who dont usually get more exciting than reporting on a cat stuck up tree) allowing an anonymously written piece like that, and one so badly written either but there it is.
The people following that account are the (soon to be ex) blockbot teamwho look to be playing a dirty game, but why even follow a smear account so blatantly? That doesn’t make any sense either. I wont profess to know whats going on here.
Interesting to Brits: Grants Schapps forum in 2009? Wasn’t he peddling scam websites then? What do him, Mensch and that Tory chick from Hertfordshire have to do with this? Mensch attracts a crazy amount of trolls though, Gilad Atzmon is one of the more disturbing things Ive seen.
Whilst I was typing this, I’ve just seen a guy from my class at school being RT’d by her, a name Ive not seen in 26 years. And he’s a huge Katie Hopkins fan. That lass gives trolls a bad name.

I have no idea what you’re saying, but I know that guys website is pure crap and he regularly spams it here. It’s no wonder he only has 5 followers. (I guess the implication is that he had more followers, and now that he’s written about blockbot he has 5? That’s surprising to me, as the contents of his blog is “pro-gg” and people who use blockbot are “anti-gg”, therefore the people that followed him were all against his bad articles, or something like that?)
Pretty safe to say that anyone who thinks that 120 pages of lengthy, and repetitive, answers to a specific poster-didn’t include answers to that poster-is encumbered by a constitutional polemic that’s antithetical to reason and discernment.
