Well to be totally honest i have about 0% interest in the topic, because like trying to talk to a BNP (or for you state side people the Clan) supporter you find they have absolutely nothing of interest to say (lots of hate and bile and misdirected anger sure) or a rational grasp on the topic they are struggling with. Which i find is the case for GG. I mostly just like to dump stuff that would piss a typical GG supporter off, and i don’t spend much effort doing that, say compared to the stuff i post in most other threads. I have my standards ;)

There are just ridiculous statements like “a widely held assumption in the gaming industry…and it’s one of the reasons the gaming industry says it’s reluctant to develop strong female characters” The “gaming industry” says that? WTF is the “gaming industry” in that context - developers, publishers? Where are all those statements for that “widely held” assumption and statements that it’s because of that “widely held assumption” that “we” are reluctant to develop strong female characters.
I’m going to suggest that nobody in the history of the “gaming industry” has ever said “we’re reluctant to develop strong female characters”, let alone looool. I think I realize one reason why SJWs are so hated- it’s because they try to make people feel guilty for things they don’t feel personally responsible for.
I mean, take the crap that happens to various minorities. Yes, I benefit from it- as I’m not a minority. However, I didn’t create this system, and I don’t feel like I should feel bad about something that’s beyond my control. Yes, I believe the system should be better- and I’ll advocate for it, but I’m not going to screw myself for it- the system in aggregate is already against me due to inequality in general.
It’s especially jarring when the SJWs come from rich backgrounds, or if they try to use their money to get people to fight their battles- like Shaun King did with the Confederate Flag takedown (offering a bounty to take down the flag)

I think my posts in general are often provocation for someone like Busbecq, and that is ok. It is good to give people like this a different perspective, as i enjoy hearing their own even if not able to often agree with them. It’s the internet, and certainly little jibes like that cause me no concerns or shatter my own personal self-worth or what i stand for. I would never slump to such low tactics myself, but well, maybe it speaks for itself?
I like to read it as “Abelism” and picture them as supporting Cain for some odd, contrarian reason.
