Game of the Month -- June 2013

[ul]
[li][] PC: Remember Me. I’m about 2/3rd of the way through and still enjoying the story very much
[/li][li][
] PC Indie: Occult Chronicles. Loving the spooky stories the game tells.
[/li][li][*] Portable: Person 4 Golden on the Vita. I think that, after 60 hours, I’m finally getting close to finishing it. But the game has tricked me before. Great game though. If I ever finish it, I have Fire Emblem: Awakening awaiting to be started on the 3DS. My first ever Fire Emblem game. So I’m looking forward to discovering what those are like.

PC: Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition for the 1st half of the month, as chronicled in the qt3 thread.
PC: Saint’s Row the Third for the 2nd half of the month, mainly to try out my new rig. I love the opening so much I played it twice!
Android: 10000000 is my new play-before-sleeping game. I just got to 5000000 last night; I wonder what happens once I reached the score goal?

preview for July: Skulls of the Shogun, and also I’ll try to return to Dark Souls.

State of Decay which is on the short list for my game of the year.
Marvel Heroes is kinda fun but too broken to be good.

The Last of Us and Sleeping Dogs

  1. Lego City : Under cover
  2. Final Fantasy III (6)

New campaign at US in Empire: Total War using Darthmod. Having a blast. Im gonna have to dust that off and give it a go, thanks for the heads up

King’s Bounty, Remember Me and Mafia 2.

Joujigen gemu neptune Victory (Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory in the west): This is a long affair because my Japanese is still so slow and I have to look up many words.
Heroes of Might and Magic III: Finally finishing the last campaign of Armageddon’s blade after all these years. But then I still have the Chronicles campaigns, thanks gog.com!
Chivalry - Medieval Warfare: I hate and love this game so much! And it’s a fun game to see which basic feature the devs break with a new patch this time!
Magic 2014
Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer’s Call (Nocturne for you US peeps). I’m not entirely committed so far, perhaps I will move this to a later time space.

Finally got around to beating the excellent Batman: Arkham City so that gets the honour for me. Really enjoyed it (which is what I expected).

Like Zeitgeist, I too am still hopelessly addicted to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare despite my frustration with the developers at times.

Also been enjoying Rayman: Jungle Run for quick sessions on my phone when waiting for subway.

I played a lot of tanks and then some borderlands2 and not enough wargame airland battle

Sacred 2 full silver level playthru with my wife.
Occult Chronicles when playing solo.

In terms of total number of hours, Eador: Masters of the Broken World still has its claws into me.
Played a lot of Don’t Starve early in the month, but kind burnt out on it after a couple weeks of improvement.
I played a weekend’s worth of Endless Space: Disharmony.

My in-bed-almost-asleep game has been Warhammer Quest on the iPad. Lots of fun.
