Dany looks absolutely lovely in the brief scene of Qarth.

I didn’t think the actress was particularly attractive while watching the first season. Yes, nice figure, but the dyed hair and makeup threw me off. And then I saw an interview with her on Youtube and thought she’s an absolutely gorgeous young woman.

I think GRRM’s prose actually improves in books 2 & 3, and then starts declining in the last two (partciularly with the horrible exposition of Dance).

Brienne has dirty straw colored hair in the books, which I took to mean more blondish than brownish. I think she’s supposed to be about 6’4" - 6’6" in the books so the 6’3" actress should work well!
