Home Alone 2?!? (never seen it)
Not The Big Lebowski, not Home Alone 2 (which I also haven’t seen) and not anything by Quentin Tarantino.
I don’t think it is, but just to get it out of my head: Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai.
I was thinking maybe it was some throwaway line by Maude, or something.
Anyway, I was wrong!
Could it be a Woody Allen movie maybe? I feel like this fifth clue is referring to a director known to be fond of NYC. Dammit I hate this game!
Fwiw, I was getting some Jarmusch vibes from the combo of music, vanity and New York.
Not Ghost Dog (or any Jarmusch film), and we can rule out Woody and his films too.
