Raising Arizona?

Negative. Nobody in this movies wears pajamas with little Yodas on them.

  • Distant relatives, or closer than they look.
  • A kidnapping coordinated by two different species
  • Mom’s coat
  • Home renovations by non-professionals
  • Family history, er, histories.

Uh… The Rescuers?

Nope.

Jupiter Ascending?

(I never watched Jupiter Ascending, but vaguely remember a review)

No. It’s an interesting guess, that probably does fit a lot of the clues, despite being very, very wrong. I don’t think it fits “Mom’s coat” though.

Still a better result than I expected!

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit?

Also no. Closer than Jupiter Ascending, I think, but still pretty far. Certainly closer geographically.

  • Distant relatives, or closer than they look.
  • A kidnapping coordinated by two different species
  • Mom’s coat, hidden, then found
  • Home renovations by non-professionals
  • Family history, er, histories.

That’s probably a giveaway if you’ve seen it, but maybe nobody has, and shame on you for that. But now I know why I didn’t do this movie before.

I forgot that it’s probably better in this game to do tricky clues to a movie everyone has seen, rather than broad clues to a movie only a few have seen, because maybe nobody has seen it!

Really? Ok, uh…

  • Distant relatives, or closer than they look.
  • A kidnapping coordinated by two different species
  • Mom’s coat, hidden, then found
  • Home renovations by non-professionals
  • Family history, er, histories.
  • Based on a book, but the setting changed from one UK constituent to another.

101 Dalmatians?

Did that happen to 101 Dalmatians? Anyway, no.This movie contains zero Dalmatians.

Ok, this is the ninth clue. Running out of time…

  • "The sea gives. The sea takes away."

Ok, final clue.

  • “The sea gives. The sea takes away.”
  • The title of this movie is… er, just kidding
  • Young girl protagonist goes to live with her grandparents in the country

Uh… I got nothing.

The Secret of Roan Inish?

Oh thank goodness. @Gordon_Cameron comes to my rescue!

Yes, it is the John Sayles film Pirhana. I mean, The Secret of Roan Inish. Seriously, I beg you all to watch this movie, and then, if you don’t like it, don’t tell me, because I would be crushed. I’m not even going to explain my clues, because I’ve already given away too much (although less than the trailer…)

Take it away from me, @Gordon_Cameron!

I haven’t seen it, at least not all of it, but my nieces were big fans. Maybe I can watch it with my daughter when she’s a bit older. If she likes it we can move on to The Return of the Secaucus 7!

Next movie:

  1. Coffee machine
  2. Blow dryer
  3. Flamethrower
  4. Headphones
  5. VCR
