Alas no. There are some great original songs in this movie, but its not a musical.

@Gordon_Cameron - speaking of Producers though - this movie does feature the last Movie performance of a longtime Stage and Screen presence - who does indeed have credits as A Producer.

Lemme make that a more compact element:
-traffic
-patriotism
-funeral
-travel
-teamwork
-great original songs
-prison
-Final Movie of a noted Stage and Screen star (both on stage/screen and off)

Blues Brothers?

Sorry, not it. Blues Brothers was the last film of Cab Calloway, but I’m thinking of the final movie of someone more associated with Stage and Screen in all their facets, than Music.

Skidoo? I think that was Groucho’s last movie.

I’m sorry, that’s not it… but it is a quite excellent guess for many reasons that will become obvious later.

Thinking of Blues Brothers reminds me of one major element that both movies share… automobiles travelling on and through… unconventional road surfaces and routes. Lets add it to the list.

The Italian Job?

I wasn’t aware it had any original songs, but all the rest fit.

Yes! Thank you for saving me from posting “Cliffhanger” as my final clue, LOL.

Quincy Jones wrote the soundtrack, and it features a number of original songs - most notably “Getta Bloomin’ Move On! (The Self Preservation Society)” and “On Days Like These”. Its like a little slice of the 60s in one tidy soundtrack package.

For anyone whose seen the movie, I think almost all the clues above are pretty self-explanatory. And if you haven’t… you should go see it. Fun 100 minutes of capers and driving antics - with the final movie performance of Noel Coward! :)

In before someone else says ‘you’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!’

Well, I can’t come up with any original clues so I’m just going to have to pilfer them from previous rounds.

1.Traffic
2. Travel
3. Prison
4. A near fatal case of mistaken identity
5. Verbal horseplay

Blues Brothers!

No Illinois Nazis in this one. No Illinois anything, as far as I’m aware.

Whew. That’s good.

I hate Illinois Nazis.

6. A man who only wants to talk about politics

All The President’s Men?

This is not based on a true story.

Heh, it’s not The Little Hours again, is it?

And I’m assuming its not the movie Traffic? LOL

Can’t make No.4 fit, but Sicario?
