Probably way too obvious, but: Cocktail?

The Conversation? They mention a boat related tragedy.

It’s fairly obvious, but it’s not Cocktail. Or The Conversation.

A Bridge Too Far? That’s not Denmark but what the heck.

Don’t remember much Kierkegaard in A Bridge Too Far. Or Sazeracs, though that is more plausible.

There are some tragic boat trips though.

Last call before I take the L.

Did not think this would be so hard. It is of course, Another Round.

  1. Glasses Specs – There are lots of glasses in the film, of course, but these mainly refer to those worn by Specs, a kid on the football team coached by one of the main characters
  2. Fancy moves – People are constantly urging Mads Mikkelsen to break out his dance moves, which he does at the end of the film
  3. Surprising facts – In an ostensible sign of how micro-dosing has reinvigorated Mads, he surprises his history class with surprising facts about various world leaders
  4. Experiment – the premise of the film is that the leads undertake an experiment to validate/disprove the theory supposedly espoused by Finn Skårderud
  5. Kierkegaard – The film opens with a quote from the philosopher, and i a scene loaded with meaning, Mads’s son is quizzed on Kierkegaard’s conception of anxiety and failure
  6. Tragic boat trip – Tommy does not take well to the experiment and kills himself after taking a boat out
  7. Sazeracs for everyone – The original experimental protocol is abandoned when the, um, scientists decide to just get shitfaced on Sazeracs
  8. 0.05 – the hypothesis being tested is that humans would fare better by maintaining a permanent blood alcohol level of 0.05
  9. Dutch, or rather Danish, courage – pretty self evident really

I’ll come up with a new set of clues in a while.

Never seen that movie. But I have never seen a LOT of movies…

I’ve never even heard of it. Oh wait, that is a recent one about a teacher who takes up drinking? I think I read a review of it.

Well now you’ve ruined my Breakfast Club clues.

While we wait for @Ginger_Yellow, have a go at this easy one:
