So, I am clueless when it comes to this sort of thing. I have tried to download a couple of interesting looking demos for my Samsung Blackjack II only to be told my phone does not support the program. The last one was just a .CAB file, so I may have left out a step, missed something in the process, or downloaded an incompatible game.
I have googled some stuff that I am going to fool around with, but did not know if you folks had any suggestions for games and if any of you have installed and use emulators like the SNES or Sega ones.
I think that the Blackjack II is one of the worst phones I’ve ever used. I hate mine so much.
It can barely do any of it’s assigned tasks. The OS is constantly struggling with every single thing I tell it to do. Browsing the internet is a complete joke… it makes zero effort to reformat the page to it’s own screen. Add on top of that once a page has more than 120k downloaded, the entire browser grinds to a halt trying to figure out how to be a browser.
The goddamn thing sometimes even hangs when I’m trying to -call- someone. You know, the main function the device was created for.
Man I hate my phone. It’s funny too, because whenever I see anyone else with one, we share stories about how much we despise the thing.
Well, I have to agree on much of that. I have used it primarily for receiving emails and occasionally looking over a word document or spreadsheet. I do like its size and the keyboard.
If I wanted to use all of its features, as you have, I would have similar frustrations I would imagine.
Well, I keep finding shit I want to install using both .exe and .cab files. Games supposedly for Windows Mobile and I get the same “not meant for this device” error. I surrender.
I don’t actually have a Windows Mobile phone but I may be getting one in the next couple months, so want to be prepared. As such, I can’t really vouch for these personally.
