Games looking forward to 2013

Just curious what everyone is looking forward to the rest of this year?

Sometimes, I learn about games I did not hear about this way or I had forgotten.

Here are my mine (that I can remember at the moment):

Card Hunter
Shadow Run
Masters of the Broken World
Age of Wonders 3
Banner Saga (single player)

Space Hulk (maybe move to PC)

Bioshock Infinite, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and the remaining Kentucky Route Zero episodes are the major items on my radar.

Definately the three in the OP, plus some of the AAA stuff like Bioshock Infinite.
Age of Wonders 3 is my “most anticipated” so far.
Also, Chaos Chronicles could be good.
Last of Us (PS3)

Heroes VI Expansion

See - I forgot Age of Wonders 3! (added to my list) :>)

I moved Wildstar up a notch - I am impressed by the videos etc.

And looking over my kickstarter page - Banner Saga (single player)

Some good stuff mentioned above, I would add:

Europa Universalis 4
ARMA 3 (limited functionality alphas do not count, right?)
Distant Worlds: Shadows expansion
Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes expansion
Possibly the new Space Hulk and Blood Bowl Star Coach games

Pokemon X and Y
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Fire Emblem Awakening (still at least 6 weeks away for non-US residents)

Ooo… Good thread GeeWhiz.

You’ve already reminded me of a few, but you left off a few big ones too (for my tastes).

Shadow Run
Masters of the Broken World
Age of Wonders 3

Wasteland 2 (maybe?)
Planetary Annihilation (apparently summer 2013?)
Grim Dawn (hopefully 2013?)

And this weekend’s new addition because I’m a sucker for getting my hopes up:

I don’t have an iOS device, but I’m really hoping they can find it in their hearts to port this.

[edits to include other awesome suggestions below…
Clockwork Empires (I completely forgot about this one… but if it can really pull off the sandbox architecture/civ/city/mad-drunk-dwarves aspects of Dwarf Fortress with a slick GUI that sidesteps the pitfalls of wasting precious CPU time monitoring each citizen’s vascular system, then this will be almost all I need for 2013).

I will probably end up trying Stardrive even though I am mainly a TBS guy.

SpaceHulk is another (cannot remember if that will come out on iOS or not).

I will have to add these to my list (and hide the ever expanding “first post” from my bride) ;)

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm - 3/12
Bioshock Infinite - 3/26
Metro: Last Light - 5/14
Remember Me - 6/4
Company of Heroes 2 - 6/25
Splinter Cell: Blacklist - 8/20
Assassin’s Creed 4 - 10/29

Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs - Q2
Watch Dogs - Q4
The Last Crown - ???
The Occult Chronicles - ???

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
Bioshock Infinite
Company of Heroes 2
Watch Dogs
Shadow Run
Planetary Annihilation
The Occult Chronicles (I really hope I don’t jynx things by mentioning it as a release for this year…)
The Banner Saga
Space Hulk

I would probably have a bunch of board games mentioned but I don’t have any room for new games. :-(

Company of Heroes 2 and Bioshock Infinite were the two games on my 2013 radar.

I’m pleasantly surprised that they’ll have to be amazing to supplant Tomb Raider, a game I had no previous interest in, as GoTY contenders.

Bioshock Infinite
ArmA 3

More DLC for Tomb Raider (my personal game of the year so far)
More updates for Kerbal Space Program

Any of the Kickstarter projects I have funded (notably Wasteland 2 which may actually exceed my expectations)

Simcity :)

Seriously though:

SC2 HotS
Space Hulk
Wasteland 2
Company of Heroes 2
At the Gates
Clockwork Empires

If they make it out this year:

Grim Dawn
Planetary Annihilation
Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers
Metro: Last Light
Hotline Miami 2 (It could happen right?)
Pandora’s Tower
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
The Last of Us
Wasteland 2
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs
X Rebirth
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
Watch Dogs

Medieval Mayor
Clockwork Empires
Eador: Masters of the Broken World
Age of Wonders 3
Elder Scrolls Online

Aow 3
Divinity: Original Sin
Double Fine adventure game

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Lego City Undercover, and both due over the next 3 weeks.

I don’t really look forward to stuff too far away, as things come close to release I’m interested over wise I try to avoid stuff hyped that is months away from release.

I’m definitely looking forward to Bioshock Infinite and the new Space Hulk. Other that that, there’s nothing much as I’m set up nicely with a number of old games from recent Steam sales.

Age of Wonders 3
Divinity: Original Sin
Eador: Masters of the Broken World
Wasteland 2
Shadow Run
Legends of Dawn

Man those are more new games in possibly one year than I can handle I’ll be swamped and broke if they all make it out in 2013.

Age of Wonders 3
Company of Heroes 2
Various/sundry Kickstarter projects

Ones I haven’t seen mentioned:

Space Rangers HD
The next gen racing sims (finally) - Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, etc.

Fortunately it doesn’t seem like this year is overloaded with lots of huge games I want to play. That could change if some big releases really do make it out by the end of the year.
