Likewise. I’ve given up on every other brand.
After Logitech replaced my G7 four times with a brand new one under warranty for the double-click issue, and they all did the same thing within almost exactly 6 months, I then tried the (then-new) G700, and they replaced that one once, which also failed, and I just threw in the towel on Logitech at that point.
I actually did a lot of research on the subject back then because I was fascinated that Logitech couldn’t seem to solve this double-click problem, or even admit to it being a problem. In fact, I was told that I was probably pushing the buttons too hard, and that I should lighten up my pushing of the buttons. Never mind that I have 20-year-old Logitech mice that still work fine and never had that problem.
Anyway, what I found out from various sources (none of those sources being mouse manufacturers, however) was that apparently, most manufacturers get those switches from the same switch manufacturer, and that apparently all mouse brands suffer from this double-click issue to some degree because of this.
My research is probably 10 years old by now, but that’s what I recall.
So, years ago, when Corsair started their Gaming peripheral division, I decided to try their M60 mouse and the K70 keyboard (the mechanical keyboard that only came with blue backlighting at that time) just because they were new to the market.
That Corsair mouse lasted for 7 years before the scroll wheel finally gave up, but it never ever registered a single-click as a double, which was my main beef with all mice at that time. The keyboard I’m still using almost 10 years later. I replaced the mouse with an identical new old stock M60 that I found on eBay, and it’s still working fine.
I haven’t tried the Intellimouse, so that might be good too, but for my money, I like Corsair. Admittedly though, I might just have gotten lucky with it. Or unlucky with my Logitechs. Mice are weird.
