If there’s one thing my 20s taught me, it’s that I don’t have to like the people I have sex with. And hey! occasionally it even makes it better.

Random newsflash: Sharkey isn’t wearing his usual black coat. NOW HE’S WEARING A RED ONE.
Members Only jacket? You should be careful - he could be trying for irony.

Isn’t it obvious? The Red Jacket grants +3 fire resistance.

The SOTC talk finally convinced me to purchase the game and play it (again). Now if I can only find Ico for cheap.
Your favorable treatment of Mogwai on a recent RPS show entitles you to some deference in my book. But you’d better watch it with the black-wearing.
Be careful. You liking Mogwai makes you worryingly close to being one of us hipster-twats.
One of us, one of us, etc.

I thought it was pretty funny that Sharkey just dissapeared from the show without any mention or pause. I think he just got dragged away by a hook vaudeville style. I have to assume that he was just waaaaaaay too drunk.
Does he say fuck that often?
I’m up to the Overlord part of the latest 1up and the only thing Sharkey’s doing that’s bugged me is his constant interruption. But I’ve appreciated most of his comments and contributions.
Holy crap. Is there video of Big Fun and Sharkey getting into a fistfight after the show? Over The Conduit, of all things? That’s entertaining in the same way as the run up to a bar fight over the best Prime Minister of England is entertaining.
But yeah - Sharkey got one holy hell of a lot drunker as the podcast went on. He went from what he sounds like on Good Grief and Retronauts to…to…to…fucking goddamn fucking IT’S A GOOD WII SHOOTER fuck. I mean, under the best of circumstances the man has always been slightly foul mouthed in his appearances, but I get the feeling as I listen to it now that he’s approaching Leigh Alexander too drunk and too tired levels.
What I want to know is why aren’t more of these podcasts discussing Red Faction Guerrilla? They’re spending buttloads of time talking about Infamous and Prototype, and there’s hardly any RFG love. Is it from lack of marketing by the publisher?
You’re suggesting that AAA games that buy more site ads get more podcast coverage? NEVER!
Well, it sucks. Look at the size of the RFG thread here-- it should be getting equal time on podcasts with those other open-world games.
I think that RFG got a good coverage on the podcasts I usually listen, Listen up talked about maybe not as much as the other too, also GWJ Rebel FM and Giant Bomb. All were mostly positive and some really loved the game, I would say just listening to then RFG was overall the most praised game of the three.
I don’t see enough talk on here about Co-Op? Is it because there’s not much to complain about?
I’m all for closing the bar after 45 minutes. Do the podcasters not realize how bad the shows get when people are too drunk to form complete sentences?
I didn’t notice until about halfway through, and then it became unlistenable. Not only because of the constant fuck, fuckin’ fucker, but it sure contributed.
