Reads more like he watches the Giant Bomb videos on his PS3.

What zengonzo said.

My laptop has shitty built in speakers and watching Giant Bomb videos on my TV through my AV system is preferable to earphones. It also allows me to do other things without being tethered to my PC.

Sure, that sounds cool. I just saw “PS3 web browser” and brain looked it up. It was filed under “Things I look at once and never bother with again”. :)

It’s not terrible if know where you want to go and have it bookmarked.

Just wish it would run Flash 10.

I agree 100%.

I have pretty much dropped GWJ and replaced it with Rebel FM. Now that they all have jobs I find the discussion to be much more interesting. They have a nice balance of big unreleased game previews, indie stuff, and current what ya been playin’ discussion.

I’ll have to give Rebel FM another chance. I dumped it a looong time ago because I found Gies to be an arrogant prick.

I dumped it because I found Tyler to be insufferable.

Also, fat penis.

(Seriously though, Tyler and Fitch should do a podcast together. Douche Squared!)

Tyler didn’t really bother me, but I have to admit, I didn’t stick with the podcast for very long after he became a regular. When I was listening to it the others dominated the mic so much, Barber tended not to speak very much.

I thought Geis was a huge douche in the beginning as well. But he seems to be more self deprecating and down to earth now. I like Tyler’s input. He generally brings up the indie games and lesser known retail stuff. Tyler seems like the anti Corey Banks. He generally focuses on the positive aspects of the games he talks about.

Rebel FM is mostly gaining my favor back because of frequent appearances of guys like Matt Chandronait. Not a huge fan of Arthur, but he’s gotten better and I enjoy their guests.

Totally agree, plus I resented his presence because he wasn’t 1UP. Turns out he’s an insightful guy. Also, Matt and Ryan from Area 5 have been on quite a bit recently. I dig them. All these factors have put Rebel FM back in my regular rotation.

I want to know who this other Cubit is who just got their name dropped on the Jumping the Shark podcast.

They didn’t reboot the episode count - they started a whole new podcast.

Idle Thumbs - Nick Breckon, Jake Rodkin, Chris Remo

The Idle Thumbs Podcast - Steve Gaynor, Jake Rodkin, Chris Remo

See - completely different.

<note: I think that’s the joke>

Yeah, didn’t catch that until episode two.

Press Pause recently had an awesome Ultima episode which was made only slightly less awesome by rather terrible video issues.

Yeah, I dropped RebelFM because it was boring to me. If I am going to listen to peoples opinions on gaming, they better be funny. (Idlethumbs, Giantbomb)

There’s only one Cubit in my heart!

It could be identity theft. Cancel all your credit cards!

Ok, so… holy crap.

If you are a fan of Giant Bomb, watch the Travelogue: Liverpool video.

It is awesome.

I really, really like the fact that idle thumbs seems to be releasing on a weekly schedule now.
