That’s the one. Unfortunately I don’t think they did the question much justice. Instead it seemed like they just spent time talking about games that got those bits right.
Listening to my first Weekend Confirmed. It seems that Garnett replaced the alcohol they regularly consumed on 1up Yours with a giant pile of coke that he takes a hefty snort on every couple of minutes.

I listened to my first Gamespy Debriefings. At times I liked it, at other times I had a hard time not turning it off (especially when they insist on doing impressions of stupid characters at length). I’ll give it a few more before deciding its fate.

Damn, but the new Gamespy Debriefing starts out kind of uncomfortably. I think that the guys just meant to play devil’s advocate, but they really come across as going after Ryan hard for his review of SMGalaxy2. It doesn’t help that Ryan was doing a pretty bad job of acquitting himself (at one point he says there were difficulty issues, when one of the Brians replies that he doesn’t think difficulty is a reason to dock points in a review, Ryan doesn’t really explain or defend himself further) but it was pretty harsh. Of course, just as the conversation moves into one of the use of reviews and sites like the Gameran Kings or Metacritic, Scott comes in and just starts calling everyone assholes and asking if they’re talking about League of Legends or Lost.
As much as I like the podcast, I do sometimes feel for Ryan. I’m sure it’s all in fun, but sometimes they really give him a lot of shit.
My copy of the podcast looped for like 20-30 minutes once they started talking about sex in the Sims. Yours?
Same. I tried re-DLing it assuming something happened, but if yours is the same, I guess that means something fucked up on their end. Or else they just thought their Sims conversation was funny enough to repeat for 30 minutes.
It’s not the first time they screw up like this, so they must assemble the podcast in a weird way.
Is it a running joke of their’s to push fucked up versions of the podcast every week?
