New episode of Tapezilla this week. Much funnier than the Gamespy Debriefings IMHO. However, much like Gamespy, they barely talk about games.

since Giantbomb has been down for a while and will continue to be, they’re doing some livecast thing with…some dudes. It’s alright.
edit: it’s “hardcore dave” who’s hosting a call in show. He’s good and Vinny’s there too chipping in.
It’s actually been really impressive the way Giant Bomb and all the other Whiskey Media people have been live streaming like nonstop for two days to make up for the fact that their sites are all down.
At the rate they’re going I almost hope the site STAYS down :)

E3 is coming up! I can’t decide if I’m dreading or looking forward to the annual Giant Bombcast Drunkcast With Very Special Guest. I’ll listen either way.
I hear the Staples Center is charging a premium this year.
The second I hear Leigh Alexander is on the podcast I’m pressing stop. I refuse to listen to another drunken Leigh Alexander podcast. if she is sober, fine, I’ll listen.
Where I really soured on her was her claiming “I had too much to drink” after the fact. I could have overlooked how annoying she was being otherwise. That’s always the excuse people use when people are particularly obnoxious. She was sober enough to talk in detail about games and how much things cost but too drunk to realize she was talking over EVERYONE.
Since I am new to the PS3 scene (and what timing!!!), what is the best PS3 podcast out there? Kind of like Major Nelson’s version on Sony’s platform.

Listened to Kat Bailey’s Roleplayer’s Realm podcast podcast for Gamepro last night. They were doing a Dragon Quest 25th anniversay episode and Tim Rogers was on as one of the guests. I’m not a fan of his writing, but he’s rather funny when I hear him on a podcast. I halfway suspect he’s secretly a Brendon Small character.

Just listen to the Giant Bombcast.
IGN’s Podcast Beyond is usually humorous and informative. Giant Bombcast is great, but you’re not going to get as much info out of it in terms of time invested versus payoff.
Otherwise, there’s no podcast by an official Sony team, though I heard on Beyond I think that one by the Sony blog people should come sooner or later.
So THAT’S what happened to Active Time Babble. I’ll have to throw that into the feedslate.
