I listen to it too. It’s solid. Beats IGN’s PC cast, anyway. I miss GFW… Though the couple times PCG’s done a podcast WHILE PLAYING A COMPUTER GAME AND INTERJECTING GAMEPLAY REACTION COMMENTS seemed pretty dumb.

Giantbomb had become my primary weekly gaming podcast now. ListenUp has been relegated to the maybe category along with Idle Thumbs and the like.

Okay. Got to two hours and had to give up on that horrible ListenUp. Had to. Be…becauzhe I just I had to just I kept I thinking that szhumbody szhould be talk…talking about how zhey could do a lot of zhingzhs if zhey had szhome money, y’know? I could do a game. If my BITCH EX-WIFE would lay off the alimony.

This is the problem with letting your producer drink. Somebody in the booth needs to be sober.

The Persona 4 endurance run is frustrating and hilarious at the same time. They are terrible at playing RPGs, but they are hilarious.

I am only on 24 right now… but I am working my way up there.

I wish that they would have picked a different game to do. I intend to play Persona 4 at some point. I cannot join in the fun.

I’m watching the endurance runs INSTEAD OF playing the game, cuz the game is so damned long, and if I get to hear them talk, all the better. Didn’t finish P3, either. I suck.

Exactly my logic.

God. Yes. The one where they decided not to get any healing potions because ‘we shouldn’t have to heal during combat, right?’ I just wanted to shout at my screen. Nooooo! You fooooools!

I’m kind of glad I’d never play this game. I’m saddened to realize that it’s clear every major female you meet is meant to be a possible romantic interest for your personality void of a character, when it’s clear that Chie and Yosuke are made for one another.

I’m really loving Giant Bomb these days. They’re funny as hell when they’re great, and when they’re not, they’re just boring. And that’s because they talk about stuff I’m not interested in, not because they’re jerks. Like the 1up guys were seeming when last I listened, and sounds like they’ve continued being.

hahahahaha, holy shit. Is that the second E3 podcast? I’m half-way through and can’t WAIT to hear this if so.

Out of the game 6 is out, if you want a break from E3 podcasts, also high tolerance needed to ear the episode Robert audio levels completely off the rest, hurts my ears.

Also a mention to Giant Bomb second E3 podcast “never” section was hilarious.

Seconded. I was at the train station and my fellow commuters got a kick out of watching me try to stifle a laughing fit.

N’Gai was quiet as a mouse, Jeff was at medium levels, and then Robert was blasting horrible tornadoes of sound into my poor sensitive ears. :(

Maybe Robert is letting this Voice of God thing from the Mobcast go to his head?

I’ll have to be careful listening in headphones.

I’m enjoying the boning in the E3 day 2 giantbomb cast. I’m not a huge fan of ensemble podcasting, but this one gets better after a few leave later on.

i really am growing to dislike leigh alexander and her ps3 fangirl ways. i also think she was drunk.

She just admitted via Twitter that she had too much Sparks (essentially an alcoholic energy drink) before recording. She also posted an apology on her blog. Regarding her being a slap for the PS3, that came through loud and clear from her Twitter updates during the Sony presser. Where Eurogamer and 1up’s live blogs were sorta luke warm, Leigh was going nuts and declaring Sony teh winnar!11!. To each his/her own, of course, but she clearly loves Sony.

That was great. Maybe that’s exactly what I’ve been missing with the Bomb.

Yeah, that is absolutely hilarious. It’s emblematic of the sort of things they do on the Bombcast. They effortlessly riff off of each other like that all the time.

I like the responses to her blog that are like ‘no no it was the best bombcast ever you were great your points were incisive’. Translatotron says: ‘I am your knight in shining armor pretty internet lady, let us now have all the sex’.
