I can Alt-Tab just fine.

Yeah, same. It’s been a remarkably clean PC experience, considering all the bitching in this thread.

I would have said 360 but now that the PC players can correct the stupid miserable 4 line limit on item details, I’d say go PC.

I had no idea that’s how longbow grenades worked. Superb!

I’m a habitual alt-tabber and it works great for me. Well, not great (WoW maximized mode is great), but it works and it’s not as finicky as Mass Effect or anything. There’s just a 3-5 second pause before it comes back up.

Yeah, no crashes for me, whatsoever.

Agreed, now I’m thinking of devious ways to use them!

They teleport to a scoped position? That increase’s their use by a lot. I thought you could only do it based on what you’re looking at, sans scope. interesting turn of events.

Would’ve been helpful if I found more than 2 Longbow grenade mods the entire game. And when I found them (at almost the same time) they were 20 damage lower than what I had. Grenade spam is definitely where it’s at for some of the “Badass” monsters.

In things like alt-tab support and stability Borderlands is very good.

BTW, i just reached Old Haven, and it is a good zone, with good enemies:). Pity that i am over two levels above the game designers thought the average player would be here, and i can kill the Crimson Lance soldiers just running to their faces and shooting it with fiiire (x4).

Errr, and on that note… could you get the font to come back? Seems like after the stealth update, I can’t get it to switch back :(

As for Alt+Tabbing, the experience is atrocious (in XP). I have no idea how you guys aren’t getting a game crash from Alt+Tab about 50% of the time.

I’m playing in Windows 7 here, so maybe that’s it?

I’ve crashed after an ALT-TAB. Lesson learned. I just never do it any longer.

Alt+Enter does work to put it into Windowed mode, and the game drops a couple of frames per second but does allow you to seamlessly use your desktop or bring up other windows.

I Alt Tab several times per game and I’ve never crashed (Vista).

Chalk it up to XP then.

The problem with this is that they are actually pretty tough, but seem to be pretty weak to fire. And Fire x4 is devastating to almost every enemy in the game.

Those guys are highly armored. Apparently that’s supposed to mean that they’re susceptible to the acid effects.

Almost any enemy is weak to Elements when they are stacked x4. x4 is basically saying “Its going to take elemental damage”. I’ve yet to come across a weapon with higher than x4.

Yeah the elements aren’t particularly well utilized or thought out.

x4 is the highest.
