I’m not sure of why everyone is replying directly here instead of using PMs. Sometimes I see there half a dozen new messages in the thread… but all of them were just petitions to marquac, not posts for the forum in general.
Use PM for that, they are intended for cases like this.

Conversely, the advantage of posting in the thread is you can see (or you should) whether someone has already requested a game before marquac updates the post, which saves multiple requests for the same thing being PM’d.

Personally I’ll keep using my privilege of displaying courtesy publicly, as I was taught of that shared social convention, however little meaning it may hold to some, or a waste of time and space it may appear to others.
