I do a “gift to a friend” thing just to be on the safe side. Technically though, the Steam key isn’t tied to your Steam account if you don’t actually hit the redeem button, so I think it works the other way too.

TinyKeep - interesting physics based combat in a procedurally generated dungeon. surprisingly satisfying to thwack around ragdolling enemies, and everything the game has to offer can be seen in one sitting.
Killer is Dead - Nightmare Edition - suda51 weirdness. isn’t my favorite, but the combat can be good and the story will keep you off balance the whole way through.
Dead Space™ 2 - the BEST dead space and the best game on this list. and ellie is a total babe.
Fairy Bloom Freesia - single screen action platformer. has an awesome combat system that you upgrade with new moves as you progress. reminds me of viewtiful joe.
