EBgames release date probabilty has gone way down in the last year or so… dunno why. Even gamestop is starting to get titles sooner than EB. I see a tremendous shift in the Force. That could just be my bowels though.

Mistmare is listed in the Strategy category and the description describes it as an Adventure/RPG mix (I believe this to be the accurate category). I realize that Electronics Boutique does not focus on videogames as its main product line, oh wait, that’s exactly what they do!!! How hard is it to check the description of the friggin’ game when categorizing it on the site?!?!
I could go on about the site and its inaccuracies, but I will save it until I calm down a bit. Not sure why I get so infuriated by incompetence, I just do.
If Koontz has a heart, I’ve yet to see it.

Yeah, no kidding. They are hugely inaccurate with categories. I swear they must pick the category based on the name/box image half the time.

This is off topic but that post reminded me of something. Years ago my brother in-law’s mother and grandmother had a job printing and mailing porn catalogs out to people. Some guy gave them the machines and material and lists and paid them to do all the work from their basements. Well sometimes they had to write up the descriptions of the movies. They used to look at the picture of the cover and title and make up the description based on what they thought it was about. They never had any idea since they never actually had the real videos just pictures of the boxes. I always thought it was funny that these 60 and 80 year old women who wouldn’t let people swear in the house printed porn fliers in the basement.
Ironically enough, Rich seems to have started posting again…
…and has posted an update as to his condition and why he’s been missing for so long. The long and short of it is that his back and especially his hip injuries (suffered as a police officer in 1990) had not been corrected by the surgery done in 1998 (when he first started Gone Gold). He received this news (I think) at the end of last year, leading him to push away GG. He’s back, if only for a short while, before he gets another chance with a total hip replacement surgery.
There’s far too much to summarize here, and the post still on the front page is well worth the read if you have some time.

Yeah, I’d say that’s quite funny. Maybe EB is using a similar workforce.
