I’ve finally decided to move some of my laserdisc collection to DVD, because I’m figuring that if the titles haven’t come out on DVD by now, they never will.
Someone recommended getting a DVD-recorder, and just plugging the LD’s out into the DVD-R’s in. What’s a decent but DVD-r? I don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, I just want to copy off my LD movies before my player breaks (because I’m pretty sure it’d be damn hard to find someone to fix it :-( ).
