Imperialism I and II

Originally developed/published by Frog City/SSI. I believe that Ubisoft somehow owns the rights to those and I believe that GoG is currently distributing some Ubisoft titles so perhaps we can hope for those.

I’d also like to 2nd that call for Age of Empires I and II. Come on Microsoft, either repackage those or let GoG do it.

Even as a Car Wars geek who spent too much time pushing cardboard up against a turning key, I didn’t think much of Autoduel back in the day. Way too clunky even then.

They saved the best (BG 2) for last (of the IE games)! No surprise there.

I was about to re-install my copy of BG2 to finally play Throne Of Bhall which I picked up about year ago and haven’t played yet but my DVD drive has been acting up lately and only read discs when it feels like it! So perfect timing on GoG’s part!

Wizardry and Ultima series now, please!

See, there are more games that I forgot! Especially Imperialism II–what a great game.

And Imatarget, I also prefer Diablo I to II. I wouldn’t say that I disliked II (to the contrary, I enjoyed it quite a bit) but I’ve always appreciated Diablo’s minimalistic design. It was a more focused game that really pared the whole action RPG experience down to its most essential elements. I think we’re in a fairly small minority when it comes to Diablo’s superiority, though. ;)

Yes - we all got it. It was a “thank you/I’m sorry” (depending on how you want to look at it) given for the celebration/“we’re out of business” bit that they pulled a little while back. It was given to anyone who had been a member up to that point.
