Thank you Relayer71 and Creole Ned! =) I thought I am the only one who is a bit weird this way. >;) I did it like 4 times with Wiz8, 3-4 times with Morrowind/Oblivion, several times with Fallout 2 and quite a few times with other games, usually RPGs. I feel better now knowing that I am not alone in this trend. :)

Yeah, we haven’t been pushing the wishlist much lately, because… well… the original one wasn’t great, and we’re honestly trying to go after everything. We have a ton of big games coming this year… just gonna take time!
I do this all the time as well. I think I have the attention span of a gnat.

And he waited four years to make that first post.
Get Precursors! It’s an Eastern European RPG from a bankrupt developer with a previously limited release (of a broken version) in the west - it’s right up your alley, easy to sort out, and being worked on by Wesp of Bloodlines patch fame as we speak. You’ll make millions, trust me.
I don’t know about millions, but you’ll get a sale from Alistair and me at any rate ;-)
I’d buy the other game from the same developer too if you can get the rights (Xenus II/white gold)
Not on GoG but definitely a Good Old Game Last Express just appeared on DotEmu, never heard of the site until today but seems like a legit competitor to GoG. Anyone here ever had experience with the site?
If we’re playing this game, get Spellcross. It’s like XCom with orcs and magic instead of aliens. http://www.cauldron.sk/

I’ve been hassling the King of Dragon Pass guy to put it on GOG - check out his blog.
The creators have always claimed that it’s impossible to remove the need for a physical disk - which seems wacky in a world with Daemon Tools, but there you go.
I’m impressed that someone managed to untangle the rights for this. It must mean that GoG will be getting it soon? I sure hope so…

Wow, that game looks right up my alley.

Spellcross was a amazing game…also amazingly looong. but well worth it! LOts of things to buy, upgrade, unit xp, research. It was on my favorite games…that i catogorized as ‘no ones played’ for many years…finally replaced by The Fall: the last days of Gaia. Still have the english mod for The Fall on a zip drive just in case! :)
I also recently replayed Starship Troopers from Microprose …holds up amazingly well for a older squad based game. The lack of in mission saves didnt bug me as much as it did then…since its quite common now (sadly). I’d love to see it, Star Trek; Birth of a Federation, Darklands, Roadwarrior 2000, and Twilight 2000 on gog!
Wow, Spellcross looks amazing. Where can I pick up a copy of that?
Played Spellcross back in 98, abolutely loved it back then. Great atmosphere and gameplay. I still have the retail copy somewhere : ).
Is this teaser page part of that ‘ton of big games’, Tom? ;)
Actually “Corwin” was me. :) I’ve accidently used my old test account.
I actually rolled my own Precursors, using the $8 Russian version to fix the stumbling English version from Gamersgate. On planet two and surprised by how much I’m enjoying it. I’m recommending it to GOG as a public service :) It’s nice to play something with ‘PC’ scale - I keep remembering Mass Effect as a set of rooms in comparison. If GOG ignore this obvious avenue, I’d recommend that…
I believe the version from Yuplay.ru can be anglicised at no cost, if you want to invest a little effort. I had an English version anyway, so haven’t tested exactly that.
I was just about to come here and ask that as well. Maybe it’s the Police Quest/SWAT games? But then why such a big deal about 'em…sigh…at least they’re not shutting the site down this time…
