Wait though. Is this the Reboot version (which you can already get cheap on Impulse) or not?

Doesn’t look like the Reboot version.

Boooo.

Well don’t be too surprised. The Reboot expansion alone goes for $20 on Impulse, and SR2 Complete is $40.

I loved Z:GI. So much fun, and they did a great job by having Michael McKean (David St. Hubbins/Morris Fletcher) voice the lantern. I still love the “Hm… a token, a slot. But how to tie it all together without my ‘insert token into slot’ spell?” joke.

Anyone notice a new expansion called The Druids was just released? I never even heard about it until today.

It’s worth every cent.

Oh I couldn’t agree more, just stating why one shouldn’t expect Reboot to be included with the base $10 version of GoG is all.

Thirded. That has to be one of the most surprising, diamond in the rough games I ever picked up on a lark.

AFGNCAAP

As much as I love Infocom, they had no problem putting stuff like this in their games. Another example I remember: Cutthroat. In that game, if you didn’t wind your wristwatch near the beginning, later on you wouldn’t be able to make it to a crucial meeting at the right time and you would lose. When I realized what was going on, I figured I could either find a clock and reset my watch, or just go to the meeting place super-early and wait. Nope. Neither of those things worked. I had to re-start.

I will have to buy that. My retail boxed version is infested with StarForce.

They just released SWAT 1 and 2.

SWAT 3…
SWAT 3…
SWAT 3…

And SWAT 4 too please. 3 and 4 are my favorite tactical shooters ever.

I think GOG should try and get River of Time, on the basis it a) didn’t get a proper US release b) is really good and c) the developer went bust. Everyone loves it and it doesn’t need patching and it would benefit from another distribution channel.

Please.

Fingers crossed. For anyone having trouble finding it digitally outside the US, I think the metaboli people have it.

Bugger everything else I want Domark’s Absolute Zero!

The Kohan games would suit GOG quite well too, although you can get them from either Impulse or the developers store (Digital River)

We talked about Heretic II a bit in the unpopular games thread and it made me want to reinstall it. I eventually tracked down the CD. The default installer doesn’t work on 64-bit systems. Another installer on the CD did work. Then I had to patch it. Then I started it but it wouldn’t work. So I had to mess around with compatibility settings until the game would launch. Then I could only use the software renderer because it would crash every time I selected openGL. Then I had to find a Glide wrapper on the internet and install it. Then I could select 3dfx as a renderer but it would only let me select a maximum resolution of 1024x768 but it was at least playable with hardware rendering.

So yeah, I think it needs an update. Help GOG please!
