Great game though. I have such fond memories of it.

You already had the physical version though, right?

Can’t speak for him, obviously, but I do.

And I am going to re-buy it anyway. That’s how I roll.

I must say I am tempted to rebuy MM7 to remove the CD check as well. Didnt HoMM 4 get not very well received on initial release? (Compared to HoMM 3)

Yes. Deeply flawed, but it has some interesting mechanics. And it continued the series trend with an awesome sound track.

Ditto.

Yeah. It was widely loathed except by Jonah Falcon. I played the hell out of it. I miss the 2Dedness.

Jonah seemed to only like games where he was compensated by the publisher while writing the review.

Yeah, IIRC, his review was published waaaaaay before anyone else’s. Poor, poor Jonah.

It would have been awesome if they’d bundled the standalone Arcomage game with M&M7.

I’m already too backlogged to replay these older ones, but I am still kind of hoping for M&M8, as it’s the only one of the later M&M games that I haven’t played yet.

GoG says it’s the first Ubi treasure release. I wonder what else they have in mind?

Gah. The urge to buy MM7 is overwhelming!

Of the base game, yes, but not the expansions.

Do it.

Yeah, same here. Of course, I have not picked up III complete on GoG yet either.

crosses fingers for MM8

Why must you do this to me? I am so weak, so weak…

I can’t buy it until I get home anyway. never shop at work.

While Charlie Sheen is “bangin’ seven-gram rocks”, we are “re-buying Heroes of Might and Magic for 9.99 even though we already own it”.

Thats winning!

I replayed this MM6 and 7 a couple of years ago. It was a wonderful experience. I don’t think I was able to play 8, so I too would like to see it at some point. It’s not as good as 6 or 7, but they just don’t make games like this anymore, which is a damn shame.

Fuckin’ A man.

Huh. Yeah. I purchased the HoMM3 collection on GoG some time ago even though I already had the collection on DVD. HoMM3 is just that good.
