I actually never played Outlaws, so that would be exciting.

Hmm. I dont know why but my first thought about the “ride with the outlaws” line was Full Throttle.

Let’s just hope that is what it is. The two clues together:

What game made you think of the STARS?
What game do you ride with the OUTLAWS?

I would be incredibly excited if it were Lucasarts, just to regain TIE Fighter. I had it when I was younger but never finished it. I lost the manual that needed passwords to let me play. Then when I found the manual, I could no longer find the disks. It was a terrible, terrible time that has haunted me since.

Still two days until the official announcement. Hopefully any upcoming clues will help solidify the Lucasarts theory though.

LucasArts; yeah.

They’ll give us Rebel Assault and Loom ;p

teh edit: and don’t forget Rebellion

Oh wow, that would be cool. I do still have my disks for X-Wing and TIE Fighter, but I would definitely put out money to play X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter since I never played it. Didn’t play Outlaws either, I think I heard it was really hard? I don’t know, that’s going way back.

I love old LucasArts games and everything, but after all that hype I got really hopeful that I might finally see my beloved Crusader games. :(

Hey! Loom was great!

I’d love to see Rebellion.

My thoughts exactly!

New hint up:
What game made you fear your past?

Older ones (for ease of solving the mystery)
What game made you think of the STARS?
What game do you ride with the OUTLAWS?

This could be KOTOR 1. Lucasarts looks increasingly likely. Good news :)

Same - Rebellion was an awesome game for its time - That was the age when developers dared dream big, and make massive games. Today, it seems games are more focused on fewer ideas and making tighter games.

Hmm, as for the riddle, I have no idea what game made you fear your past - Never played outlaws either.

Renegade Legion: Interceptor

I would love to see this remade using a x.y.z universe.

Same here on the X-Wing / Tie Fighter games. I haven’t played any of them for at least six years or so now and I have no idea where my discs ended up. I need them.

I would prefer if they actually work in my OS, Windows 7 64bits. Which i doubt they do, in the original DOS format.

They work…okay in DOSBox, but not awesomely. Takes a bit of tweaking to get 'em to work right, last I tried.

Totally. I miss those days…

redundant

Not really if you know why GOG is popular.

Because they sell old games you can’t find anywhere else at a reasonable price?

Or is this one of those bullshit DRM comments?
