I’m pretty sure they were referencing Alone in the Dark 3. Although I guess they might still put up Desperados, at some point.

Oohhh, I didn’t realized Atari published the Imperium Galactica games. I would LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it if they released those on GoG.

LucasArts.

So much for TIE Fighter, Dungeon Keeper, Thief, and the Ultima Collection.

LOL.

My bet the next Atari game will be one of those Arcade or 2600 collections.

Oh, yeah, LucasArts, duh.

Another GOG marketing fail. I can go back to ignoring them.

Yeah, I’m disappointed that DK and the like aren’t going to be in the release queue (it’s definitely going to be a string of Atari games) but I’m not really upset with GoG for hyping the releases. The past few pages of the forum has been a lot of fun with people speculating and getting psyched up … just because our particular most favoritest games weren’t the ones GOG had gotten their hands on doesn’t retroactively spoil that fun. They found a good way to tap into their base. I sort of hope they keep this up… “guess which game we’re about to release, here’s a hint” isn’t a bad way to tease the gaming community.

If they’ve got 25 games coming from the publisher they signed for Spring/Summer, that’s got to be EA I’d imagine. I’m hoping that the other two that they’re in negotiations with are LucasArts and Microsoft (would love to see the AoE games on GOG).

Of course, what they said was vague enough that the 25 games could be a combination of the Atari games + some other publisher, which would open up the door for one of the other smaller publishers.

Yeah, that’s how I’m trying to look at it, as some awesome stuff coming in the next couple of months that they hinted at today.

Well, “ride with the outlaws” plus Atari = Outlaw, obviously.

If EA, then we better see some System Shock,

What was with the Dungeon Keeper font then? I thought that clue was for The Witcher. Was it a red herring or an oblivious marketing team?

Balls to that, I want my Future Cop: LAPD.

Alone in the Dark 1-2-3 in one package! These were great games.

oops…I am a bit late here. They are still great games though:)

Meh. I just wish they wouldn’t bother with shrouding the upcoming Atari releases in mystery. It was fun the first couple times, but now it’s annoying. I would prefer GOG to have a proper list of upcoming titles and consistently stick to their Tues/Thur release schedule. By not doing that I will just forget about them and either spend my money on current games or save my money for known upcoming games. I get that hype helps build awareness of GOG and brings in some new customers, but hype followed by lackluster announcements puts off users, like me, who have been around for a while.

I was wondering the same thing. The choice of font wouldn’t seem accidental.

This is probably a good thing. My wallet is now safe for a little while longer.

Heh, the last couple of pages of this thread were like that romantic comedy where the guy makes a bit fuzz about a dinner in an expensive restaurant he invites his girlfriend to, and she gets the idea he’s gonna ask “the question”, but he ends up making the big reveal that he’s been promoted at work…

In other works, if you have nothing substantial you want to reveal just now, don’t - that’s fine - but don’t make a big fuzz about nothing.

No need.

It’s like that time my fiance asked for a hint on her birthday present, and I said “Diamonds are forever!”. The look on her face when she unwrapped the James Bond DVD collection I got her…
