OH GOD THOSE BASTARDS WHAT A RIPOFF WHY I NEVER etc.
Okay, I don’t know that group of people very well I guess. I thought it was like the chorus of people who say “I’ll wait for it to be released on Steam.” Not quite the same, but you get the idea.
Maybe the fence sitters already anticipated a console version.
Wow, EA has a nice back catalog, if I am remembering right. Nice. I’d play DK2 again before I touched DK, but I can’t wait to see what else they release eventually.
Privateer! Ultima Underworld 1 and 2! Dungeon Keeper! Available now! Woohoo!
Wendelius
Privateer available now? GOGOGO!
I can’t get to GoG.
You guys up there better not be fucking with us, or by god I swear
Aw, System Shock and Privateer aren’t part of it for now due to legal entanglements.
No System shock or Syndicate, legal issues. At least, right now.
From the GoG site: “we can already reveal that the next upcoming titles from this huge deal are: Crusader: No remorse, Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri and Magic Carpet”
And i am remembering right now a game i HAVE to buy when it’s released. Nox. It was from Westwood, so EA have to be the one with the rights.

I’m okay with this. My concern was they’d get bogged down releasing a bunch of trash amidst a few good games, but they seem to be on the ball with this deal. Count me in for Wing Commander and Dungeon Keeper, for sure.
And Alpha Centauri? This pleases me greatly.
As much as I may have wanted to see Lucasarts, the way they appear to be handling this so far has me highly interested. Now to see how long they can keep it going.
While I’m personally really happy to see EA come to GOG (since they have such a huge catalog of games that are hard to run on modern systems), there’s gonna be a whole lot of people pissed about them teasing LucasArts and not delivering.
OK, got in. Congratulations, GoG, you have seriously surprised the crap out of me. I have a lot of this stuff on CD already, but hey no DRM and stuff.
Yes! Yes!! Yessssssssssssss!!!
