Yeah, I got that too. Heavy handed much?

Needless to say, I still continue to choose to not buy Jutland, no matter how much the subject matter interests me.

I’d buy Jutland if it didn’t have that heavy handed DRM included. Even the demo has DRM, and I had a bitch of a time getting that running because it.

Hmm, should I buy Panzer Elite and the Red Baron pack? Also, the latter shows as $5.99 in my wishlist but now $7.49 on sale. They must have increased the price since then or there’s some other glitch.

There’s no better WW2 tank simulator than PE. As for Red Baron, that’s a definite “Hmmm.” The RB1 included is the oldest, 16-color version, and even the later 256-color version is more of a historical curiosity for retrogamers/retrosimmers. RB2 is also a superior sim, but OFF pretty much does everything RB2 did so there’s no point in playing RB2 unless you’re strapped for cash or computing power.

Thanks. I have Steel Beasts to play but can’t seem to locate any of the flawed modern WW2 tank sims, so I’ll just work through PE’s graphics. I plan to get OFF so I’ll skip the Red Baron pack for now.

Being able to buy all this stuff online at the click of a button is bloody insidious. Thanks to this sale, Gamersgate sales, steam sales and impulse sales I think I must have bought 20+ games over the last fortnight!!

Anyway, just picked up the Jagged alliance pack (already had JA2, but nice to pick up wildfire and Unfinished business) as well as a few others.

I bought Panzer Elite and it crashes for me whenever I go into an actual mission. And there is, effectively, no support documentation.

To a point, but if their copy doesn’t work my experience is that support is limited. Probably due to the company’s size.

I couldn’t get Soldier’s to run, but at the price I bought it I wasn’t overly worried.

I tried it but much prefer the Xbox controller. That’s how I first played it though so I might be biased.
