I guess Pornhub will no longer be the go-to place to watch the very latest episodes of The Mandalorian and Star Trek Discovery.
The backstory here is that Mindgeek (Pornhub’s holding company) absolutely monopolizes the entire porn industry in the western world, so they no longer need to rely on pirated user-uploaded content to stay relevant. They both distribute and create the content, and their sites have more traffic than Facebook. They aren’t some scrappy underdog.
It’s none of my business, but I’m very curious about what prompted Rich to mute (presumably) Giles.
