The Bernard Cornwell Last Kingdom series is surprisingly good. I’ve read everything up to The Pagan Lord and am halfway through it. The series bumped pretty much everything else off of my reading list this year.
Pretty pathetic year this year. Although there were circumstances, like another kid a new job where I was travelling a lot less by train, getting ready to move back to Canada, then moving back to Canada and just chilling for 6 weeks before starting a Master in Teaching degree. I certainly could have fit in a little more reading but in those times I’ve chosen to catch up on my TV or here at QT3.
