Has anyone had this error before? It just started for me this evening and is constantly popping up (like every 8 seconds). It’s driving me batty. I’ve tried restarting, going to Apps in the settings and doing a force stop and clearing the cache, but it’s had no effect.
Just read the reviews on the Play store and it seems like I’m not alone.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the google play services updates and that seems to have fixed things. I wonder if I had selected the google play services to be updated and then turned my phone off in the middle of an update. I know the problem started after I rebooted my phone.
FWIW, I work for the company that makes the Temple Run games. In the past 24 hrs, we had a huge spike, out of the blue, in crashes related to problems with Google Play Services. I think there’s something whacky going on with their backend servers. This also happened in July.
