Anyone grab the American release this week? I’m curious as to how stable and bug-free this version of the game is compared to the UK version Gogamer has been carrying.

Did they ever release the patch for the UK version? That would probably answer your question.
I saw it on the shelf yesterday at the local EB. I’m not really too interested though having just played Gothic I about halfway through a few months ago.
Reports are that the US version is version 1.32, where the UK is version came as 1.31 (they never did release a patch). Judging by the RPGdot and JoWood forums, it doesn’t look like they changed much of anything.
